Our first offering is our Boykin Blend, named for our LBD George who passed too young at 5 years old from a catastrophic back injury.  It was created from 45% estate grown Chambourcin, 45% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon that were locally sourced and aged with medium french oak.

 

The appearance is ruby/garnet; the nose has been described as cherry/blueberry/tobacco/wood spice;

The mouth is light - medium, with room to grow in time. The finish is velvety with a medium length.

 

This wine can be enjoyed now on the front porch during sunset or served with turkey or venison.

 

You could lay it down to achieve a bolder taste.
